Tuesday I worked from home in the morning, and then went off into Bournemouth in the afternoon a worked on a website which was interesting for me.
Mark and Kate had spent the day seeing relatives in Winchester.
That evening they came over to our van where Mark and I set about some ale with gusto!

Six Months In And Still Loving It by "M"
Well here we are 6 months into our adventure and I must say we have had some testing times through the winter.
Firstly When our heating packed up back in November I was thinking how 'on earth are we going to make it through with snow on the ground?!!'
Luckily a good friend of mine had already given us a convector heater, which actually heats far better and quicker than the on board heating, on a relatively low setting.
Then at Christmas we had our water inlet pipes frozen and the waste pipes at the same time!
We were at relatives at the time, so again this wasn't so bad although I could hear my mum in my head with all her criticism of what we're doing as she so obviously doesn't get or approve of what we're doing, she regularly asks how long are we going to be in our van and why don't we rent a house!!
Hopefully in 5 years time, when we're well on our way to reaching our goal of buying our own land she'll see why.
The winter does prove to be challenging when it comes to doing the washing, but it just means weekly trips to the launderettes with the added expense of £20.00 doesn't take all day to do though roughly about an hour all washed and dried.
I'm really looking forward to the summer with all our Rallies that we exhibit at.
We get a bonus from my work around April time so this year's is already allocated towards a cadac BBQ and a generator for when we are off EHU. Plus a smaller awning that we could use at the Rallies or at sites when we're only there for a couple of days or weeks, save putting up the biggy just for a week.
We're of to NEC this weekend providing we can find a dog sitter, which is proving difficult at the mo, as my family are away or busy dog sitting for the world and our 'China' is feisty with other dogs. Excellent with people but really fussy about dogs.
I've got lots of projects that I want to do for the van once the weather warms up.
The outside is in dia need of a good wash, I've got material to re-cover the headboard and make new curtains for the bedroom, and I've seen some fabric through my work that I want in the sitting area.
Now I do have a big old sewing machine (Jones zigzag) in our garage but as it weighs so much and can be tempermental I think I will try out a very small handy sewing machine that again my good friend Julie (from work) gave me, as the curtains won't be big it should be OK.
The bedroom headboard will be Blue Petered will sticky back tape!! That's what it's got a the mo and works well.
I must just tell you all this as I thought it so funny, for Christmas my Mum bought me a lovely jumper, PJ's!!! and really thick socks!!.
My daughter bought me a hot water bottle that heats up in a microwave (we don't have a microwave)!! and1 of those lovely blankets with sleeves and a pocket in the front for a remote control!! (we don't watch TV).
And another good friend also bought me the same blanket.
Now I'm not unappreciative but I do feel that:
1) My daughter left home far too early and has lost touch with her mummy!:(
2) My mum constantly still worries about me being cold as her house is cold.... do you remember when you were going out and as your mum was cold she'd wrap you up in hat, scarf and gloves!!! A Mum's porogative I guess.
I know they all meant well but as it's between 20 and 25 degrees in the van I do feel that they won't get used! although much to Jools's disgust the PJ's have been very comfy and warm!!!
Makes me laugh (peoples mis conception) of living in a van.
We had a comment about us dodging council tax, again this makes me laugh as we pay our dues in every possible way, they are just labelled differently. ie site fees, gas by the bottle etc.
We still pay TV license at our address we use just to watch DVDs.
Well I can't think of anything else to say other than thanks to you guys for reading the blog religiously and supporting us in what we're doing.. Thankee say big big,

Bournemouth Sea Front & Boscombe Chine
My old mate Mark, his wife Kate and his 2 kids Millie and Alice arrived with us yesterday, and are spending the week in their caravan.
Last night we sat out side till 8.30pm having a few beers and talking over old times. In that time we had two deer stroll by and when it got dark we saw a shooting star!
We eventually succumb to the cold air and returned to the warmth of our van where "M" had been cooking spag bog! Enjoyed greatly and washed down with a couple of bottles of red.
Didnt do anything this morning except finish off the blog I posted earlier, it should of gone up on Sat, but just ran out of time!
This afternoon we took a drive into Bournemouth, parked up just before Boscombe Pier and walked into town. We walked upto Bournemouth pier, up through the gardens then sat and had a coffee out side and watched the world go by.
The girls went off to do some shopping, and Mark and I just sat and listened to a young girl busking and playing a guitar. She had a lovely voice, and sounded excellent. Such a waste of talent to have to be stood out busking, but, it was our gain in having had the pleasure to listen to her! Dropped a quid into her guitar case, and was hoping to see a business card but alas none.
As I am a musician, (grade 7) cornet, or was as I havent played it in years! I still play the harmonica after copious amounts of gin I can definately spot talent when I hear it. That young lass had talent! Its someone like that who should be on X factor and all these other types of shows. Nothing manufactured about her talent, just raw, pure and 100% natural. Mark commented and he is dead right, how brave just to set up on the street and start to sing and play! Thats real determination and guts!
A walk back to the car took us through Boscome Chine where we found our first Geo Cache! It was well hidden and extremely difficult to spot.
Ive got quite a few postcards of Bournemouth and the surrounding area, so what I would like to do is try and get into the same position as the postcard picture was shot and take one and compare them. The difference will be amazing!
We are off out for a bite to eat at a local pub tonight, we have been there once before and gave it a good write up, so hoping it will be just as good tonight!
Off to Shaston tomorrow, another day another dollar, isnt that what they say?

Our Site & Caravan On A Sunny Day!
Last Thursday I spent the day on site and working from the caravan.
It was a lovely day, the sun was shining, I was sat out in the awning with my laptop with only a T-shirt on! It really was that warm.
I do enjoy working from the caravan, of course you have to have a bit of control of your actions, you cant just sit around and watch the squirrels digging out their winter food supplies, or the cows in the field, or trying to track down woodpeckers! No, work must be done if you want to earn a crust! I can usually knuckle down well, Ive been working for myself for long enough.
I know some people that hate working from home, I even used to know a guy who when working from home used to put on his suit as he said it made him more focused! Not for me! But each to their own!
Other people seem to think there are two many distractions, well, yes, there could be, but when your working for yourself, it really is this simple - No Work - No Money! So not too hard to get your head around!
I dont think I could go and work for someone full time in the same place anymore. I think it would do my head in too much. I dont mind short periods, like I did on the run upto Christmas. But not on a full time basis.
Living and working from the caravan gives me the flexability that I need and enjoy. I have everything I need - Laptop, Mobile Broadband, Work Space, which is either in the caravan if it is a bit nippy or out in the awning if its warmer. I can set up full photographic studio facilities for photographing antiques out in the awning. Im looking forward to the summer sat outside under a pub umbrella with laptop and a cool drink to ease my suffering! Now thats proper taking advantage of working conditions!
Living in a caravan full time certainly seems to be working for us!

What A Week!
Its been one of those weeks where its just been non stop from the time I wake to the time my head hits the pillow!
We moved last Sunday, then again on Weds, Mon & Tues were spent working away, and today Ive been back in Bournemouth. It only left me Thursday on site and I was flat out with getting things posted out all day!
Next week is looking just as busy, but at least there are no moves to do!
Today I spent working on a website which aims to help people with autism, aspergers syndrome and the like. A resource and life coaching site. Its taking shape, it is live, so you can see it at http://lifebeyondlabels.com/ Its no where near ready yet, but it will evolve as time goes by.
Its owned by a guy called Laurence Mitchell who was in his late 40's when he was finally diagnosed with both of the conditions mentioned. Still a lot of work to do on it, but by all means have a play around and see what you think.
I have taught to drive a couple of youngsters with autism, which was interesting, there seem to be so many levels to this condition. I do wonder though how many cases go undetected.
Im sure we all know someone who is a little different! This site is aimed at those who are labelled as different and to break down those barriers or labels that society places upon them.
We ourselves have been labelled different by the lifestyle we choose to lead. Not that there is anything wrong at all with what we do, but its people perception. One person on a forum recently actually suggested that living in a caravan was unhealthy! How he came to that conclusion I have no idea, but thats a good example of a label placed on us!
As its now friday evening, Im debating whether to do a bit more work or call it a day. If I stop I feel guilty, but you cant work all the time, can you?

Adverts On The Blog & Why!
As you can all clearly see down the sides and inbetween the posts you will see some google adverts and others.
Why? There is a simple reason for this, they make me money! Im not talking mega bucks Im literally talking pennies, but all these pennies add up. I reckon at the moment we are making around a fiver a month! So not going to retire yet, but add that up over a year and you have got a few bob extra in your pocket!
To explain how it works is best left to an expert, someone who has been blogging for a while and who is RVing his way around the USA and Mexico. Many readers have written asking about Google ads that you see on my blog and on MsTioga Magazine pages. Perhaps you are curious about the Google AdSense program too?
Publishers and Advertisers.
Here is how it works. There are publishers like me, who put webpages on the web. There are also advertisers who want to sell things. Google dreamed up this fantastic method of allowing advertisers to put ads on publishers webpages. But the thing about these ads, is that Google figured out a way to serve ads relevant to the content of the webpage. For example, if a webpage were about plumbing, the ads served to that page would also be about plumbing.
Look at the ads on this page. Notice that many of these ads appear to be relevant to this story about earning money online.
Searching for info leads to sales.
Let's say that you are interested in buying a digital camera, OK? You go to Google and do a search for "digital cameras". If you look at a webpage that comes up in that search and that page has Google Ads, you may click on an ad to get additional info. When you click on a Google Ad, the publisher gets paid for that click.
Advertisers bid for search terms.
The advertiser determines how much a click will pay for a particular ad. The advertiser bids for a search term. In this example, the search term is "digital cameras". If the advertiser bids 50 cents for this search term, then the publisher will receive a portion of that 50 cents for readers clicking on that ad. Some ads pay 5 cents, and some pay $2 or more. The advertiser is provided with reports which tell how much the advertising is costing, and compares that ad cost to the sales generated from these clicks in order to determine if the program is paying for itself.
Earn money in the forest, at the beach, anywhere.
I publish my web pages from my RV home. My RV is equipped with the Datastorm mobile internet system. Everywhere that I travel is a place where I may work on my webpages, publish them and earn money from my Google AdSense ads.
Requirements for AdSense approval.
From Google's AdSense Forum is the following advice in order to be approved for AdSense.
Exception Note: I have personal experience where an AdSense account was approved with only one blog page for the applicant.

Moving Location!
Today we moved location, we have spent 3 nights at a little site at Ashley Heath, a lovely little site, however neither of us felt particularly safe there. Each time I left the van I expected to come back and find it missing!
No real reason for this, but we are closer to a main road, and there seemed to be alot of passing traffic. The site fees here were £10 per night including electric so very reasonable.
"M" was working to day, so it was left to me to pack up and move. So with no real rush I set about packing up. One of the things we always do is empty the loo, it saves it sploshing around! So off I went, I always use my sack trucks to carry the cassette, saves my back!
I found the emptying point, which was a manhole cover with a piece of twine around the handle for ease of lifting. Not that easy to lift as it was a cast iron one. Opened it up and was faced with alot of furry turds staring at me! Not pretty! I emptied out and did what the previous people should of done and hosed it all away, not only mine but the others as well! It took me all of 2 minutes to do, so why couldn't they of done it. Lazy gits!
We moved off site ok and travelled the few miles up to our next site. No one in at the farm, but we knew where we were going, back to our last spot on the site! My co-navigator at this point was absolutely useless, I swung into the pitch but wasn't sure if I was straight enough so kept going a bit further, but as the ground was still wet, ended up stuck in the exact same spot as I was on Sunday!
My Co-navigator being China dog, just sat there with a bemused look on here face. If you've ever seen Faulty Towers where Basil thrashes his car with a branch, well, yep that was me! Mind you I came off worse as I got splinters in the palm of my hand and gave myself a nose bleed!
I tried putting wood underneath the wheels, unhooking and pushing, hooking back up a different angles, you name it I tried it. So in the end admitted defeat which is when "M" turned up. She went up to the farm, found John who came down with his discovery hooked up and pushed us back onto our spot within 30 seconds!
So Ive now come to the conclusion that the Freelander is bloody useless with just front wheel drive!
Once in "M" gave me a steak and pepper pie which was lovely and made me a cuppa, this brought me back to the real world again!
We then set about putting up the awning, which we did with no real problems, all though no records were broken in putting it up. I was knackered!
Fish & Chips tonight which were absolutely amazing! These came from Harlee's at Verwood!
Our Fiat 500 didn't sell on ebay, 7 days and not a single question or even a daft offer! So we will be trying Autotrader next! Its got to go - I need 4wd for my sanity!
I'm spending the day on site tomorrow which I must admit I'm rather looking forward to, then on Friday an extra day back down in Bournemouth.
Below you will find pictures of the site we have just left, like I said a perfectly good site, just didn't feel comfortable there. But handy for a couple of days as a stop-over.

Now if you have ever wondered where wheelie bins come from, I can reveal that they are secretly grown in the field below! You can see a few that have been picked all ready lying on their sides!
