Vintage Camp Sites That Are Still Up And Running Today

I often come across old photographs of camp sites, which I find interesting.

Looking at the old caravans and cars that towed them, such a cutting edge thing to do at the time!

This site was called "Little Switzerland" Caravan Park in Folkestone, Kent.

It is also a comfort to see that it is still in existence today!

"Little Switzerland" is still going strong and can be seen by clicking on the link "Here"

Another campsite I came across was Sandgreen Caravan Park in Dumfries.

This postcard picture was taken in 1967.

This site is also still up and running and looking very busy! You can visit their website by clicking "Here"

Finally today is the Whitecliff Bay Camping Site at Bembridge on the Isle of Wight, this has changed beyond all recognition!

It is now a Hoseasons Holiday Park which you can see more of by clicking "Here"

Till later..................
